my hair is now my hair is medium brown. but i was thinking is there a hair dye that will last maybe only 3 weeks - 1 month so i can test it out ?

Er, when you lighten hair you strip it. There are no temporary lighteners. If you lighten then decide that you don't like it you have to dye it darker again or keep lightening if you do like it in order to avoid roots. My advice in any case is to have it lightened professionally.

yes there are the ones that wash out eventually if you go darker but when you bleach it lighter that does not work. you would have to color it dark again or let it grow out if you dont like it.

Light brown. although blonde is great, if you dye it the right brown, it can go lighter and have blonde tones from the sun and the light and such :)

There is such thing as a semi-permanent hair color. It slowly washes out over a period of around 6 wks. But it only works when coloring your hair darker than it is or the same level of color but in a different tone.
