orginally started out dark brown

this all depends on what you put in it to turn it orange?

I wouldn't try to do it at home, just because the bleaching that you would have to do would be very intense and you will fry your hair and it still won't turn out like you would prefer. You should really have it done professionally because they will be able to bleach, keep it from being orange-blonde, etc.

Bleach it and then pick out the color of dye and do it on top, unless you want platinum blonde.

its super hard to do it by yourself. you need to get to a hair specialist and make sure she knows how to work with blonde. a lot of hairdressers do not know how making dark hair blonde. my hairdresser is asian and has platinum blonde hair... i would look for somebody like that to fix your hair

Well, Red colors are the HARDEST to remove - as hard as black in many cases. The best bet here is to go get it professionally done. THey will probably do a few cycles of toning %26amp; bleaching.

You have to transform the color slowly... just keep dying it blond once every three weeks hopefully by summer you'll have blond hair...

put bleach in it for about 30 to 45 minutes then after you wash the bleach out it might look a orangish yellowish color. You need to put a toner on it if it turnes out like that. My advice it to ask one of the girls which bleach and toner to get whereever you buy it from. But I would just go to a hair salon because if you mess it up which is highly possilbe your just going to have to go to a salon anyways so they can fix it and make sure yorur hair isint completely fried. so just go to a salon.

the same problem happened with me. its because you used boxed colors, even though the color on the box was blonde. youre going to have to bleach your hair at a salon then recolor it there ....im not gay, i just wanted to try blodne hair lololo)

good luck, its gonna take some time. You will have to work ur way to a blonde. Start out like a strawberry blonde(which has a tint of red) and work your way to a blonde. You could bleach it, but Its not recommended, red hair is usually fine and not a strong as other hairs, dont ask why that is what they told us in nursing school.

Go to your beauty supply store and get some 40 vol. bleach and developer....

Follow the directions.

I'M JOKING!!!!!

Go have your hair done professionally, it's not worth having to pay 2x's as much to fix it after getting it done at home.

Yikes i know just what you are talking about if you tried to color your hair with a blonde shade all at once without going through stages----when strating out with darker hair you cant just use a blonde shade because it will turn the hair red/orange

You need to put your hair back to the darker shade you statred with and then go lighter gradually if you are going to do it yourself---if not you can just go to a salon and have then do it all at once..good luck if doing it yourself do not go more then 2 shades lighter at a time
