What kind of blond highlights on dark brown hair??

I have a hair app. tomorrow and im thinking about getting highlights .. I have dark brown hair and my hair is kinda long but the shortest is to my chin but i have angles and it layered so its kinda long in the back.. so the girl that does my hair was probably going to pull it through the cap instead of foil.. cause foil highlights are thicker and it takes longer to come out if i didn't like it.. so she was going to do that cap.. but that really hurts i heard..

If you go to a good colorist, you can get thick or thin foils. You can also chose between face frame, half-head, or full-head of foils. If you are afraid of too blonde, ask for a honey color or a caramel.

sounds like your hairstylist likes to give out free pain. those caps are for really short hair-like what a guy would have. I think the foil would be your best bet. Hope you got some time set aside for this appt. because it will take awhile for the blonde to come through on dark hair. If you dont like it, go back. At least you're getting it professionally done because I dont know how well the boxed colors would work.

Try dark golden blonde or deep caramel blonde highlights. Any lighter will appear will appear wrong.Yeah, The Cap hurts and can b hard to remove off ur head. Good Luck!
