I have dirty blond hair naturally,6 weeks ago I dyed it lighter. Even though I purposely picked a cool shade it came out sort of yellowy and not as light as i had hoped, so 2 days ago I went for total ash blond but I didn't use a dye I just used a lightener, my mom thought she could handle it, since she has dyed her own hair for 20 years and died my hair the previous time, well she couldn't! It said don't let come in contact with scalp but we did anyway but it still left patches of roots practically brown and random patches of dirty blond, and its WAY more yellow than before, it is terrible, I want to fix it, but I don't want to damage it, but i CAN'T go around looking like this. What should I do, I am up for anything!

go to a beauty supply store and ask about "toner".
let them know you need to make your blonde softer
they'll know what to do, should be cheap too

You better go to a professional at this point. If you have Fantastic Sams, they do color cheap. If not look for a beauty school. They could probably help you.

you need a toner that will take the yellow out but also you might want to wait till the weekend is over cus sometimes the yellow will soften in time
