My hair is starting to fall out?

Hi my hair is starting to fall out... and i've always had naturally thick hair. I bleached it paritally for over 2 years professionally and never noticed any problems other than ordinary hair loss. Then 2 years ago I struggled with an eating disorder also never really noticed too much hair loss. Just about 8 months ago my mother passed away i had been taking care of her in my home and my hairdresser died my blond hair brunette (again all professionally) and about 3-4 months later i noticed it falling out. Is this most likely caused by stress, dying or diet (i've gained weight back since those two years) I am now using Nixon scalp treatment is there anything else i can do to make sure i don't go bald?

ok, I might not be the best person to answer this, because im going thru the same situation. Not quite, but yeah. My husband uses Nixon, has been using it for about a month now and hes hair is growing back. But you have to make sure you use the Shampoo, Conditioner and the little spray, it can get pretty expensive, but is worth it, My hair is falling out because of the shampoo that I use (Pantene Pro-V)

I would say your hair loss is do to all the shock and trauma that you and your body have been put through over the past couple of years. But if you have any kinda of hair loss in your family you may be experiencing thinning because you have the genes for it. If the loss is infact from shock and trama your hair will come back but it can take anywhere up to a year for the hair to grow back.. if not the only thing they really have on the market for women is Rogaine for Women. Not sure how that works though.. unfortunatly the most successfully hair loss medicine is Propeca and is something that women can not take.

Wish you the best.. and don't worry.. it's just hair :)

An unbalanced diet, especially one without enough protein, can cause temporary hair loss. Women who are anemic often experience loss. Increased hair loss can occur with pregnancies, major surgery, or a major life event, such as a death or divorce. These causes are temporary and hair growth will return to normal eventually. But a product like Provillus it is an oral supplement, which works to block DHT, a form of testosterone that is responsible for 95 percent of hair loss. It also works to stimulate the scalp and bring dead follicles back to life.

Massage aloe Vera gel over the scalp, leave it for about one hour. After this rinse the hair with warm water. It gives excellent results for hair loss if one uses this massage at least 3-4 times a week. Check out
